The Rotary Club of Salado welcomes you to The Village
of Salado. Our club meets every Tuesday at 11:30 am
-12:30 pm at the Stagecoach Inn.
We provide speakers each week who are informative and oftentimes
entertaining. The Village Voice, our local newspaper, frequently
provides an article and/or picture of recent speakers.
The Rotary Club of Salado is involved in many
projects. For example, at the annual Salado Art Fair which occurs
during the first weekend in August, we use golf carts to transport
visitors between the parking lots and the Art Show. The donated
money received from this project goes toward two scholarships and other
small projects. Another project that this club sponsors is to
organize teams who then place US flags outside at businesses and homes
during specific holidays; for this we collect an annual fee from the
subscribers. The flags are installed on Memorial Day, Flag Day,
Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veterans’ Day, and any other designated special
day.
The Rotary Club of Salado is made up of many
professional men and women whose motto is “Service Above Self”.
We are Rotary Volunteers for our community. We are made up of a
diverse group of people who bring years of business and personal
experiences to serve our community. We invite you to attend a
meeting and visit with us and/or become a member of our club.
We provide an orientation called “Fireside Chat” for
new members and we offer many opportunities for our members to engage with
our District 5870 clubs.
